Austin SPIN is no longer active

Our last meeting was in November 2012.  ASPIN had a very active life for 20 years, serving software developers and software development managers with monthly presentations by leaders in the field.

This website is an archival website

It will remain up for several more years so that those interested in software process improvement may still benefit from our meeting archives.  Slides for many of the speakers are available via links under the talk titles on the archives directory page

ASPIN MIssion Statement

Our mission is to provide free and open exchange of software quality and process improvement ideas and experiences.  One audience we hope to include is people who are concerned about the problems of software development in large systems and legacy systems, with large teams; for example, problems such as maintenance and technology migration.  We feel this community is underserved by professional software groups in Austin.
